Other Ways to Help the Foundation....
CASH GIFTS
Cash is the simplest way to make a lasting gift, while receiving a charitable income tax receipt.
MEMORIALS
The passing of a loved one is a meaningful occasion for making a lasting gift in his or her memory.
ANNIVERSARIES, BIRTHDAYS, WEDDINGS
As a uniquely meaningful or rewarding idea, donations can be made in honor of someone special or a special occasion.
PLANNED GIVING BEQUESTS
Gifts through a will or trust allow you to make a sizable contribution, while possibly saving income and estate taxes and not reducing your assets during your lifetime.
REAL ESTATE
A home or other real property can be deeded to the Foundation, and you may be able to deduct the fair market value as a charitable donation. You can deed the property to the Foundation now and still enjoy its use throughout your lifetime.
STOCKS, BONDS, MUTUAL FUNDS, RRSPs
A charitable tax receipt will be issued for the value of the security and you may reduce or avoid capital gains taxes.
LIFE INSURANCE
Naming the Foundation as a beneficiary of a life insurance policy allows you to make relatively modest contributions towards a larger gift later.
CHARITABLE TRUST
With an irrevocable, tax exempt trust you retain a fixed income from the trust, while transferring the remainder to the Foundation.
When planning your gift it is suggested you seek the advice of an attorney and/or tax consultant.
